I work in a job where positive comments are a rare being. I'm sure you all remember being in school, and I highly doubt that you spent your days telling your teachers and coaches how much you appreciated what they did, or at least, I certainly didn't! Being on the other side now, when I do hear a positive comment, it really makes my day.

We just started Knowledge Bowl practice for the season this week, and I had a student come in and say, "You are the best Knowledge Bowl coach ever! I've been waiting for practice to start for a year!" It is so nice to get a pat on the back like that.

So my challenge for you is to drop a note (I cherish all of the hand-written notes I've received over the years) telling one of your teachers, or many of your teachers!, what you appreciated about them or their class, or even that you actually learned something in their class. You will certainly make their day.
